Black Angus
Strong mothers, good bulls. A natural environment where they can thrive and behave as they wish. Their meat quality is renowned worldwide. They are a beef breed, originally bred in Scotland.
Why don’t we have cheese in our webshop, even though we have cows? Because they reserve all their milk for their calves, which gladly nurse until they are 7 months old.
They are naturally polled (hornless) and very peaceful. It’s a true pleasure to watch them on the pasture, calm and content.
They always roam freely in the open, even in winter. They feed on grass in the pastures, and in winter, they eat hay with added grains to endure the cold.
They calve on the pasture themselves in the spring when it’s most favorable for them. Calves raised this way don’t require human care as they grow up strong and resilient, following their mothers, just as it happens in nature.
